Booking is simple and secure. Start by requesting a free custom quote above. Once we present your itinerary and you're happy with it, we secure your reservation with a deposit (typically 20–30% of the tour cost). The balance is due 60 days before your departure. We accept all major credit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal. All transactions are processed securely, and you'll receive a full written confirmation of everything included in your tour.

We offer flexible cancellation to give you peace of mind. Cancellations made 60+ days before departure receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations 30–59 days prior receive a 50% refund. For cancellations under 30 days, we work with you on a case-by-case basis and do our best to recover as much as possible from hotel and cruise providers. We strongly recommend travel insurance, which we can help you arrange.

We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially for peak season travel (October–March) or if you want specific luxury hotels and Nile cruise cabins, which sell out quickly. That said, we have successfully arranged tours on as little as 2 weeks' notice — so don't hesitate to inquire regardless of your timeline. The sooner you reach out, the more options we can offer you.

Absolutely — Egypt is a spectacular destination for families. Children are welcomed warmly throughout Egypt. Our family tours are paced appropriately, with engaging child-friendly guide narration that makes history exciting for younger travelers. We include activities like camel rides, felucca sailboat rides, and snorkeling at the Red Sea. Our family packages include family-suite hotel upgrades and extra flexibility for rest days when needed.

All Tripidays guides are fully fluent in English and specifically experienced in guiding American and international travelers. Our senior guides hold degrees in Egyptology or archaeology from Egyptian universities and have typically guided for 10–20 years. We can also arrange guides who speak Spanish, French, German, Italian, or other languages upon request.

We send all confirmed guests a comprehensive packing list tailored to their season and itinerary. General essentials include lightweight breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), a modest covering for mosque or mosque visits, and any personal medications. All clients receive a detailed pre-trip preparation guide covering packing, currency, tipping customs, and cultural etiquette.
