On every Tripidays luxury tour, "luxury" means 5-star hotels or above at every overnight stop (think Hilton, Hyatt, Four Seasons, or Sofitel — no 3-star filler), a private licensed Egyptologist guide who is exclusively yours for the entire trip, private air-conditioned transfers with no shared coaches, and domestic flights included so you're never sitting on an overnight bus. Meals at quality restaurants, entrance fees, and full 24/7 WhatsApp support are standard across all packages.
Never. Every Tripidays luxury tour is 100% private. Your vehicle, your guide, and your schedule are exclusively yours for the duration of the trip. The only exception is the Nile cruise ship itself, where your cabin is private but the boat may carry other guests — though all shore excursions from the ship are still conducted with your private Egyptologist guide only.
A 5-star Nile cruise is a larger motor vessel carrying 40–80 passengers, with rooftop sun decks, a dining room, a bar, and private cabins. It sails the classic Luxor–Aswan route on a fixed schedule. A Dahabiya is a traditional wooden sailing vessel carrying a maximum of 10–12 guests, which moves under sail and docks at smaller riverbank sites that motor ships cannot reach — including El Kab and Gebel el-Silsila. The Dahabiya experience is slower, quieter, and more intimate. Both options are available in our portfolio.
October through April is consistently the most comfortable window for all destinations — Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and any Nile cruise. Daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 28°C at major sites. December and January are peak luxury season, particularly for Nile cruising and Abu Simbel visits. If you're combining your tour with a Red Sea stay in Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, or Marsa Alam, the water is warm and excellent for snorkeling year-round, so the beach finale works in any season. We recommend booking at least 3 months in advance for peak-season departures.
