    The Great Giza Pyramids

Start your journey through Egypt at the iconic Pyramids of Giza, timeless wonders of the ancient world. The Great Pyramid, built around 2560 BCE as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu, was the tallest man-made structure for 3,800 years. Nearby is the Pyramid of Khafre, built by Khufu's son and linked to the Great Sphinx, a colossal statue believed to depict him. Completing the trio is the Pyramid of Menkaure, smaller but equally impressive. These 4,500-year-old pyramids showcase the incredible skill of the ancient Egyptian civilization.

    The Valley Temple

Explore the Valley Temple of Pharaoh Khafre, part of his funerary complex that includes the Pyramid of Khafre and the Great Sphinx of Giza. Built around 2570 BCE, this temple showcases the skill and ingenuity of ancient Egyptian builders. Made from limestone and granite, it was a sacred space for preparing the pharaoh’s journey to the afterlife. Discover its rich history and marvel at this timeless structure.

    The Sphinx

The Great Sphinx of Giza, one of Egypt's most famous landmarks, is a statue with a lion's body and a human head. Built 4,500 years ago during Pharaoh Khafre's reign, it stands near his pyramid, likely as a guardian. Though damaged by wind and sand over the centuries, it was partially restored by Pharaoh Thutmose IV, who placed the "Dream Stele" between its paws to recount his divine rise to power. Modern exploration began in 1817, but much of its history remains a mystery. The Sphinx stands as a lasting symbol of ancient Egyptian ingenuity, inspiring awe worldwide.

    Breakfast & Flight to Aswan

After a peaceful night at your hotel in Cairo, start your morning with a hearty breakfast before heading to the airport for your flight to Aswan.

    The High Dam

Upon arriving in Aswan, our representative will welcome you and take you to your first stop, the famous High Dam. Completed in 1970, this engineering marvel was built to regulate the Nile's flow, prevent floods, and provide electricity for much of Egypt. Constructed under President Gamal Abdel Nasser with support from the Soviet Union, the High Dam remains one of modern Egypt's most iconic achievements.

    Unfinished Obelisk

Next, we’ll visit the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan’s ancient granite quarries. Dating back to Queen Hatshepsut around 1500 BCE, it was meant to be the largest obelisk ever built but was abandoned due to cracks in the granite. If completed, it would have been 42 meters (137 feet) tall and over 1,000 tons. This site offers a fascinating glimpse into how the ancient Egyptians used simple tools to carve massive stones.

    Philae Temple

Our journey concludes at the magnificent Philae Temple, a timeless monument dedicated to Isis, the revered goddess of magic and motherhood. Built during the Ptolemaic period (380–360 BCE) and later expanded by Roman emperors, the temple was relocated to Agilkia Island in the 20th century to protect it from rising waters caused by the Aswan High Dam. As you explore its halls and chambers, your guide will share its history, the myths of Isis and Osiris, and its role as a spiritual center for ancient Egyptians and Romans.

Associated with Esna in Upper Egypt, then under Ottoman control, he was known for his eccentric, philosophical lifestyle.
