Philae Temple: Visit Philae Temple, which is dedicated to the goddess Isis and situated on an island in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam.
The Unfinished Obelisk: an enormous ancient monument that gives insight into the stone quarrying techniques of ancient Egypt.

Note: If you arrive in Aswan early, we'll start the tour as soon as you get here. Since cruise check-in is at 12:00, we want to make sure our guests don't waste time waiting in the lobby.

Karnak Temple: In the afternoon, you'll visit Luxor's East Bank, which focuses on the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest man-made structure dedicated to the god Amun Ra. Its origins trace back to the Middle Kingdom and include references to even older buildings from the 3rd Dynasty, making it a significant historical site before you proceed with your visit.
Temple of Luxor: This temple, originally constructed by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by the renowned Ramses II, is situated in the heart of ancient Thebes. Like Karnak, it was dedicated to the chief god, Amun Re.
After your day tour, you will be transferred back to your ship for some rest. In the evening, enjoy an Egyptian folkloric show presented by the staff, followed by dinner onboard.

Valley of the Kings: Next, you'll embark on a magical journey in Thebes, the sacred land, by exploring the West Bank of Luxor. This includes the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery of the Theban kings, and rulers of ancient Egypt, where our Pharaohs were laid to rest.
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: As you continue your tour of the West Bank, you'll visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt's most successful and powerful female pharaohs. The temple is famous for its unique architecture, with three terraces carved into the rocks.
Colossi of Memnon: You will also have a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, where two massive stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III are located. These statues are around 3,400 years old and are a popular tourist attraction in Luxor.
Lunch: After your excursion, return to your ship for lunch and some rest before continuing sailing to Edfu.
Dinner: Enjoy dinner onboard

Edfu Temple: This will be followed by an excursion to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. This temple is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god, and is considered one of the best examples of Ptolemaic architecture.
Lunch: lunch will be served onboard as you sail to Kom Ombo.
Kom Ombo Temple: Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, visit the unique double temple dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. Marvel at the incredible architectural design and learn about ancient Egyptian mythology and religion.
Dinner: After your tour, return to your ship for dinner while sailing to the city of Aswan

The High Dam: Your first stop for the day will be the High Dam, an impressive engineering feat that provides irrigation and electricity to Egypt. Learn about its construction and importance to the country.
Philae Temple: Next, take a short boat ride to Philae Temple, located on a small island in the Nile River. This temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and is a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture.
Unfinished Obelisk: After visiting Philae Temple, head to the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk. Learn about the process of creating these massive structures and why this one was never completed.
Lunch: Enjoy your lunch on board
Dinner: Savor delightful meals on board as we stay docked in Aswan for the night.

Optional Tour to Abu Simbel: This excursion to the Abu Simbel temples offers transportation by private coach or domestic flight from Aswan, where an English-speaking tour guide will meet you. Located 180 miles south of Aswan on the Nile's western bank, the temples were built by Ramses II and include the Great Temple dedicated to the god Rahorakhty and a smaller temple honoring Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari.
After your day tour, you'll drive back to Aswan. Once you arrive, a private air-conditioned van will take you to your hotel for check-in. You can relax and refresh or head directly to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo.
