Embark on your journey through Egypt at the legendary Pyramids of Giza, timeless marvels of the ancient world. The Great Pyramid, built around 2560 BCE as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu, held the title of the tallest man-made structure on Earth for an incredible 3,800 years. Nearby, the Pyramid of Khafre, constructed by Khufu's son, Pharaoh Khafre, stands proudly alongside the Great Sphinx, a colossal statue believed to bear his likeness. Completing this iconic trio is the Pyramid of Menkaure, smaller in scale but no less extraordinary. These awe-inspiring, 4,500-year-old monuments remain a testament to the remarkable ingenuity and craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian civilization.
Step into the Valley Temple of Pharaoh Khafre, a vital piece of his grand funerary complex, which also features the legendary Pyramid of Khafre and the majestic Great Sphinx of Giza. Built around 2570 BCE, this temple stands as a remarkable tribute to the ingenuity and artistry of ancient Egyptian civilization. Crafted from resilient limestone and granite, it served as a sacred site for rituals preparing the pharaoh’s passage to the afterlife. Uncover its fascinating history and admire the extraordinary craftsmanship that brought this timeless masterpiece to life.
The Great Sphinx of Giza, one of Egypt's most iconic monuments, is a colossal statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Constructed approximately 4,500 years ago during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre, it stands proudly near his pyramid, likely serving as a symbolic guardian of the site. Over the millennia, the Sphinx endured significant damage from wind and sand, but it was partially restored by Pharaoh Thutmose IV, who placed the "Dream Stele" between its paws, a stone inscription recounting his divine ascent to power. While modern archaeological study of the Sphinx began in 1817, much of its history remains shrouded in mystery. As a timeless masterpiece of ancient Egyptian artistry, the Great Sphinx continues to captivate and inspire people around the globe.

After finishing your breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and head to the airport to catch your flight to Aswan.
When you arrive in Aswan, you will visit the famous Aswan High Dam, an incredible piece of modern engineering. The dam was constructed between 1960 and 1970 during the presidency of Gamal Abdel Nasser, with help from the Soviet Union. This massive project was built to control the Nile River's annual flooding, store water for irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power. It has played a major role in transforming Egypt’s agriculture and economy.
Next, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, an enormous monument located in the ancient city of Aswan, Egypt. Believed to have been commissioned during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut around 1500 BCE, this obelisk was intended to be the largest ever created. However, it was never completed due to a large crack that appeared in the granite during the carving process. At this site, you’ll discover how ancient Egyptians used tools made of dolerite to cut and shape granite, revealing fascinating details about their advanced construction techniques over 3,500 years ago.
After your visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Your final stop for the day is the Temple of Philae, a magnificent site dedicated to the goddess Isis, who was worshipped as a symbol of motherhood and magic in ancient Egypt. Originally built during the Ptolemaic Period (around 380–362 BCE), the temple was located on Philae Island. However, in the 1960s, it was moved to Agilkia Island to protect it from flooding caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam. This UNESCO-backed relocation project saved the temple, allowing visitors today to admire its impressive carvings and well-preserved structures, which showcase the rich history and craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian culture.
After a full day of exploring ancient Egyptian history, you will check into your hotel in Aswan for a well deserved rest. Enjoy the comforts of modern amenities while reflecting on the wonders you have seen throughout the day.
Your breakfast boxes will arrive early in the morning. After that, you will go on a guided day trip in a modern air-conditioned car to visit the iconic Abu Simbel Temples.
Located on the banks of Lake Nasser, the Abu Simbel temples are among the most impressive and best-preserved sites in Egypt. Built around 1264 BCE by Pharaoh Ramses II, these temples were created to celebrate his victory at the Battle of Kadesh (1274 BCE) and to showcase his power and devotion to the gods. The larger temple honors the sun gods Ra-Horakhty and Amun, while the smaller temple is dedicated to Hathor and Queen Nefertari, Ramses II’s wife. These stunning monuments were relocated in the 1960s to save them from flooding caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
After exploring the temples, we will stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant to enjoy some delicious Egyptian cuisine.
Return to your hotel, unwind from the day's excitement, and recharge for tomorrow's adventure. Take a moment to relax, enjoy the comfort of your surroundings, and prepare for all the new experiences that await you.

The Colossi have stood the test of time and remain an iconic sight in Luxor, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization.
