Your Egyptologist picks you up after breakfast. The morning is at Giza, the afternoon at the Grand Egyptian Museum, two of the three most visited sites in Egypt, covered in a single day without rushing either.

The Pyramids of Giza
Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, a timeless wonder that has captivated travelers for millennia. Let your guide unveil the secrets and stories hidden within these colossal structures.

The Sphinx
Next, stand in awe before the Great Sphinx, a majestic sentinel guarding the pyramids, whose silent gaze has inspired wonder and mystery for centuries.

Valley Temple of Khafre
Your guide walks you through the polished pink granite hall where Khafre's mummified body was ritually processed before burial. The ceiling is intact in sections, and the T-shaped light slits still fall exactly as designed 4,500 years ago.

Grand Egyptian Museum
After lunch, immerse yourself in history at the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, home to priceless artifacts from Egypt’s ancient civilization.

High Dam
You stand on the High Dam crest looking south across Lake Nasser, 550 kilometers of reservoir stretching into Sudan, created when the dam was completed in 1970. Your guide covers both the engineering achievement and the displacement of 100,000 Nubian people whose villages now sit under the water.

Philae Temple
A short motorboat crosses to Agilkia Island, where the Temple of Isis was dismantled block by block and rebuilt on higher ground to save it from the rising reservoir, one of the largest rescue operations in archaeological history. The carvings are unusually sharp because decades of submersion protected the stone from wind erosion.

Your resort sits on the Gulf of Aqaba. The structure of Days 7 and 8 is deliberate: the primary program each day is the hotel beach and pool. Excursions are available to book alongside your free time; they do not replace it. For travellers who prefer a Red Sea resort on the Egyptian mainland with all-inclusive convenience rather than Sinai's rugged coastline, our Nile cruise and Hurghada all-inclusive alternative offers the same cruise route with a Hurghada resort finale instead.

Ras Mohamed National Park (Optional)
Depart at 09:00. The 35 km drive south reaches the tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the Gulf of Aqaba and Gulf of Suez converge. Your first stop is the Shark Observatory, a short rocky climb to a platform with both gulfs visible simultaneously in opposite directions. Then the main beach for snorkeling is directly above the protected reef. The wall drops 80 meters in sections; fish density here is among the highest in the Red Sea. Back at the resort by 15:00.

Colored Canyon Trip ( Optional)
Start at 5:30 AM with a jeep ride directly to the Colored Canyon, reaching it in about 2.5 hours. Begin your descent into the canyon, climbing down through the winding rock formations, then ascending on the opposite side, where your jeep will be waiting. On the return journey, stop in Nuweiba for a 1-hour lunch, then continue to Dahab for 1 hour of shopping.

Most competitors on this tour assign your Sharm days as excursion days. This package structures Days 7 and 8 as genuine free beach time with optional add-ons available alongside, not instead of, your resort time. The Sharm destination is also Sinai-specific: Ras Mohammed National Park, the Gulf of Aqaba reef walls, and the convergence point of two gulfs.
No direct flights operate between Luxor and Sharm El Sheikh. The routing is Luxor to Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh, and all three legs are included in your domestic flight package. You transit through Cairo without collecting luggage or clearing customs. Allow approximately 2 extra hours of total travel time on Day 6.
The cruise runs for 3 nights from Aswan to Luxor and covers seven sites with your private Egyptologist: Aswan High Dam and Philae Temple on boarding day, Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu Temple while sailing north, then Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon on the West Bank, followed by Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank before departure to Sharm.
