Day 1 opens with a private road transfer from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis (approximately 370 kilometres), where a 4WD Jeep safari begins across the Black Desert's volcanic plateaus, through Bawiti village and into the first desert camp overnight. Day 2 moves south into the Valley of Agabat, a corridor of eroded limestone fins and pale formations, then into White Desert National Park for the iconic chalk sculptures: columns, arches, and stacked formations shaped by centuries of wind erosion, followed by a campfire dinner and a second night sleeping inside the park perimeter.

Breakfast and Dinner
Breakfast is cooked at camp. The Jeep is loaded before the heat of the day arrives, and the route back to Bahariya passes through the most visually concentrated geology of the whole trip. Your guide drives you back along the Sahara highway, arriving in Cairo by late evening.
You'll spot Crystal Mountain from the Jeep before you stop a low ridge along the desert highway where every surface catches light differently. The ridge is composed almost entirely of calcite and quartz crystals embedded in the sandstone, which is why it glitters; your guide will hand you a fragment to examine up close.
Two natural hot springs in the northern Bahariya depression, fed by an underground aquifer heated by geothermal activity at depth. The water temperature holds at approximately 37–40°C year-round. After two nights of desert camping, the warmth is precise and welcome.
You return to Bawiti with enough time for a slower walk through the market quarter: dried herbs, local honey jars, hand-painted ceramics. Your guide can introduce you to a shopkeeper or tea house if you want to sit for twenty minutes.
The Jeep parks at the base and the walk up takes under ten minutes. English Mountain is the old colonial survey point above Bawiti, and the view west from the top covers the entire oasis floor and the desert beyond.
