Magical 7-Day Cairo, Luxor & Hurghada Couples Tour
This 7 day Cairo, Luxor & Hurghada couples tour covers three destinations across 6 nights: 2 nights in Cairo, 2 nights in Luxor, and 2 nights at a Red Sea resort in Hurghada. It is the only 7-day Egypt tour for couples that combines the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (Luxor) with a stay at a Red Sea resort in Hurghada—offering greater ancient-history depth than a straight Cairo-Hurghada trip. A domestic flight connects Cairo to Luxor; the return from Hurghada to Cairo closes the loop.
Day 2 opens at the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple of Khafra, and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Day 3 crosses to Luxor's West Bank for the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, passes the Colossi of Memnon, then moves to the East Bank for Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the Avenue of Sphinxes at sunset.

Itinerary

Your Tripidays representative meets you at Cairo International Airport, handles arrival formalities, and transfers you directly to your 5-star hotel in the heart of Cairo.

Nile Dinner Cruise
As the city lights come on, you and your partner board a private dinner cruise and drift down the river with Cairo glowing on both banks. The Nile at night is wider and quieter than you expect. The skyline stretches further in every direction than any photograph prepares you for.

Meals
Dinner

After breakfast, your private Egyptologist collects you from the hotel for a full day on the Giza Plateau and across Cairo's ancient sites, ending with a domestic flight south to Luxor.

The Great Pyramids of Giza
Stand at the base of Khufu's pyramid and look straight up: the scale only becomes real from this angle, 146 metres of hand-placed stone narrowing to a single point. Your guide positions you for the perspective most visitors miss the south face at dawn, where the light cuts across the limestone and the shadow line is razor-sharp.

The Great Sphinx
You'll approach the Sphinx from the east, which puts the full profile in front of you before the crowds close in. At 73 metres long and carved from a single limestone ridge, it is older than any of the three pyramids standing behind it.

Valley of Kahfra Temples
Your guide walks you into one of the best-preserved royal temples on the plateau, where the granite walls are polished smooth and the scale of the ceremonial chambers feels entirely different from anything above ground.

Grand Egyptian Museum
You'll spend the second half of the morning inside the GEM, where the Tutankhamun galleries hold more than 5,000 objects from a single tomb the gold death mask, the innermost coffin, the gilded throne — all displayed together for the first time since they were excavated in 1922.

Meals
Breakfast & Lunch

After breakfast in Luxor, your Egyptologist guide collects you for a full-day loop across both banks of the Nile royal tombs in the morning and monumental temples in the afternoon.

Valley of the Kings
You enter the Theban Necropolis through a narrow canyon, and the temperature drops the moment you step inside the first tomb. Sixty-three royal burial chambers were cut into this valley over five centuries; your visit includes Tutankhamun's tomb, where the painted burial chamber is so small and so intact that it feels like a discovery rather than a tourist site.

Hatshepsut Temple
Your guide leads you up the colonnaded ramps to the terraced temple built directly into the Deir el-Bahari cliffs, a design with no parallel in Egypt. Hatshepsut ruled as pharaoh for 22 years and commissioned this structure as her own mortuary temple; the reliefs on the upper terrace still carry traces of original pigment.

Colossi of Memnon
You pull off the road, and there they are, two seated figures of Amenhotep III, each 18 metres tall, standing in an open field with no enclosure around them. They have been here for 3,400 years, and there is nothing between you and them.

Karnak Temple
Enter through the Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes and keep walking. The Hypostyle Hall alone contains 134 columns, the tallest reaching 21 metres; couples who arrive before the tour groups find the interior almost silent, with shafts of morning light cutting between the columns.

Luxor Temple
Your day on the East Bank ends here, where the Avenue of Sphinxes connects this temple directly to Karnak along a 2.7-kilometre processional road. Come at dusk — the sandstone turns amber, the floodlights come on at the base of the pylons, and the entrance obelisk casts a long shadow across the courtyard.

Meals
Breakfast & Lunch

After breakfast, you check out and transfer by private vehicle from Luxor to Hurghada, arriving at your beachfront resort in time for the afternoon. Couples travelling with family may also enjoy our family all-inclusive Cairo Hurghada tour, which follows a similar experience with a stronger focus on family-friendly resort experiences.

Optional Snorkeling
Jump into the Red Sea for a snorkeling adventure among colorful reefs and exotic fish species in one of the world’s most beautiful marine environments.

Meals
Breakfast & Lunch

A free morning at the resort is followed by an optional desert excursion in the afternoon or a second full day on the beach if you prefer.

Red Sea Beach and Resort
Two full nights at the resort means you actually have time to stop: loungers on white sand, the sea warm enough to swim in for most of the year, and a reef line visible from the shoreline without equipment. Couples seeking a more honeymoon-focused beach escape may also like our 7-day Cairo Sharm El Sheikh honeymoon, which offers a more private and romantic Red Sea resort experience.

Optional Desert Safari
Get ready for adrenaline and culture! Ride across golden dunes, enjoy quad biking, camel rides, and visit a Bedouin village to learn about desert traditions and hospitality.

Meals
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, you check out and transfer to Hurghada Airport for the short domestic flight back to Cairo. The afternoon is at your own pace.

Meals
Breakfast & Lunch

A final Egyptian breakfast, then your Tripidays representative transfers you to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight.
