International flights, visa, travel insurance, tips, and optional Hurghada activities are not included.

This is the only 14-day Egypt itinerary that combines Abu Simbel in ancient Nubia, three Red Sea days in Hurghada, the full Luxor-to-Aswan Nile cruise circuit, and a Mediterranean day trip to Alexandria. The geographic range alone separates it from every other package at this duration. Travelers who want the Nile depth without the Red Sea extension can compare the luxury Nile cruise with Dendera temples for a more focused cultural alternative.

Abu Simbel is a pair of twin temples carved directly into a Nubian sandstone cliff by Ramses II in the 13th century BCE, located 280 kilometres south of Aswan near the Sudanese border. The distance and remoteness are exactly what make it a bucket-list destination rather than a standard day stop. The temples were cut apart and reassembled 65 metres uphill between 1964 and 1968 to save them from Lake Nasser's rising waters, a UNESCO-coordinated operation that moved 10,000 tonnes of stone with millimetre-level precision.

Yes, two domestic flights are included: Cairo to Hurghada on Day 2 and Aswan to Cairo on Day 10. The Abu Simbel excursion on Day 10 travels overland by private A/C vehicle from Aswan; no additional flight to Abu Simbel is required or included. International flights to and from Egypt are not included and must be arranged separately.
