The Great Pyramid, constructed around 2560 BCE as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu, reigned as the tallest man-made structure on Earth for an astonishing 3,800 years. Nearby stands the Pyramid of Khafre, built by Khufu's son, Pharaoh Khafre, and famously connected to the Great Sphinx, a colossal statue believed to bear his likeness. Completing the trio is the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest yet equally remarkable monument. These awe-inspiring, 4,500-year-old pyramids are a testament to the extraordinary ingenuity and craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian civilization.

    The Valley Temple

Dating back to around 2570 BCE, this temple is a testament to the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the ancient Egyptians. Constructed from durable limestone and granite, it served as a sacred space for preparing the pharaoh’s journey into the afterlife. Explore its rich history and marvel at the incredible skill of the builders who brought this timeless structure to life.

    The Sphinx

The Great Sphinx of Giza, one of Egypt's most famous monuments, is a massive statue with a lion's body and a human head. Built around 4,500 years ago during Pharaoh Khafre's reign, it stands near his pyramid and was likely meant to guard the site. Over the centuries, it suffered damage from wind and sand but was restored by Pharaoh Thutmose IV, who placed the "Dream Stele" between its paws, telling the story of his rise to power. Although modern study began in 1817, much of its history remains a mystery. As an ancient Egyptian masterpiece, the Great Sphinx continues to fascinate and inspire the world.
