You wake up to the Red Sea. Today has no historical agenda; it is built entirely around the water. Hurghada's beaches sit on the western shore of the Red Sea, where the water temperature stays above 24°C year-round and visibility runs to 30 metres on calm days. You have the full day to swim, sunbathe, or do nothing at all. The resort handles the rest.
Your guide can arrange a snorkeling boat to the offshore reefs, where the coral formations begin within metres of the surface. The Red Sea hosts over 1,200 species of fish, around 10% of which are found nowhere else on earth. Your guide will point out the key species before you enter the water.
